Everwell Bio has commissioned an additional production line at its Suzhou facility. Installation and on-site testing are complete, and the new line has entered regular production alongside our existing operations. The expansion adds both upstream liquid-handling capacity and downstream automated packaging capacity to our 20,000 m² factory.

What was added

The new line consists of two main sections:

Stainless-steel holding tanks at the new Everwell Bio production line, installed and tested
New stainless-steel holding tanks installed at the Everwell Bio facility, ready for regular production.

Why we expanded

Over the past year we have seen a steady increase in order volume from both new and existing customers, particularly for water-soluble 45% and 80% grades. The existing lines were running close to capacity during peak season, which limited how much buffer we could keep for larger or rush orders. The additional line is part of a planned capacity build-out so that we can continue to ship within the lead times our customers expect.

What this means for buyers

For distributors, formulators and brand owners who source from Everwell Bio, the additional line translates into three practical improvements:

  1. More headroom on monthly volume. The added upstream and downstream capacity reduces the risk of a single bottleneck delaying an order during busy months.
  2. More consistent finished-goods presentation. Automated weighing, sealing and palletising reduce bag-weight variation and improve the uniformity of each pallet, which is helpful for container loading, warehouse handling and downstream repacking.
  3. Shorter and more predictable lead times. With more parallel capacity, scheduling becomes less sensitive to the exact mix of grades in a given week, and we can hold planned lead times more reliably for both 25 kg bags and customised retail packs.

Quality verification

Before the line entered regular production, the commissioning team completed the standard trial-run protocol used for every new asset at our facility: mechanical and electrical checks, calibration of weighing and dosing instruments, dry-run and wet-run cycles, and parallel sample testing against the same specification used on our existing lines. Material produced during the trial runs met the agreed amino acid content, moisture, solubility, pH, appearance and microbiological parameters, and was released only after the laboratory results matched the reference specification. The same batch documentation standard applies to all production from the new line going forward.

What is unchanged

The new line uses the same raw-material sourcing, the same specification reference, and the same batch documentation (COA per lot) as the rest of the factory. Existing certifications, private-label arrangements, packaging options and export documentation are unaffected. Order intake, sample requests and quotation processes remain exactly as before.
